The company is targeting users who were already subscribed to Jiocinema or Disney+ Hotstar, offering them a seamless transition to JioHotstar without any additional charges. Who Is Eligible for Free JioHotstar Subscription?

Reliance Jio has created specific criteria for offering free subscriptions to users. Here’s the breakdown:

1. Existing Disney+ Hotstar Subscribers:

   If you were already subscribed to Disney+ Hotstar before the merger, you will receive a free subscription to Jiohotstar. This offer includes all the services and features that were previously available with your Disney+ Hotstar subscription. For example, if your Disney+ Hotstar subscription was valid for one more month, you will now enjoy the same for one month on JioHotstar without any extra charges.

2. Jiocinema Subscribers:

   Users who have a valid Jiocinema subscription, whether it is a monthly or annual plan, will also be transitioned to the new JioHotstar platform. Their subscription will remain intact, and they will continue to enjoy access to the platform’s content just like before.

3. Subscribers through Mobile or Broadband Plans:

   Many users who have a mobile or broadband plan with Reliance Jio that includes free subscriptions to Jiocinema or Disney+ Hotstar are also eligible to get the same subscription benefits on Jiohotstar. The Jiocinema will be discontinued soon.
